Where We Perform
Denise Choate & The Not Just Jazz Band is a Northern California jazz band bringing live music — and, for Latin-focused events, La Diversión — to weddings, private parties, wineries, and venues throughout the region. Based in Sonora, we regularly perform across the Mother Lode, Central Valley, Sacramento region, and Lake Tahoe.
Mother Lode
This is where we play most often — historic wineries, Gold Rush-era venues, and private estates throughout Tuolumne, Calaveras, and Amador Counties. Expect intimate outdoor settings, tasting rooms, and barn or courtyard weddings where a full jazz combo or trio fits naturally alongside the scenery.
